The Optimise pillar

What is your solar roof really worth ?

Since 1.1.2026, your exported kWh is paid at the reference market price — often a pittance. The real value is in what you don't feed back.

Independent — we don't sell energy. We calculate what really pays: self-consume, store, share.
Self-consuming a kWh is worth ~27.7 ct saved; exporting it, ~6 ct. A factor of 4.6×.

The toolbox

A tool for every kWh you produce

Free, neutral, quantified. We sell you nothing — we calculate what your roof and self-consumption are really worth.

A method, not a bet

How we optimise, in practice

We start from your real consumption, never from an offer to sell. The recommendation is neutral by design.

01

Diagnosis

We read your real profile: consumption, roof, self-consumption, export.

02

Value calculation

We quantify what each kWh is worth: self-consumed (~27.7 ct) versus exported (~6 ct).

03

Neutral recommendation

We tell you what to do, backed by figures — even if it's ‘change nothing’.

04

Local action

We model self-consumption, storage or neighbour sharing (CEL/vZEV).

The Decoder

We translate what's changing in your production

Each week, an opaque term decoded — and the tool to make the most of it.

Why us

Advice with nothing to sell you

We calculate, we sell nothing

Self-consumption, storage, sharing: we quantify what really pays, even if it earns us nothing.

Zero hidden commission

Our fees are published. If we're paid by an intermediary, we tell you, on the line.

Even ‘change nothing’

When staying is the best option — as is often the case in Switzerland — we tell you plainly.

Your questions

Optimise, with no catch

Can I switch supplier in Switzerland?+
Below 100 MWh/year, no: the supplier is set by your municipality (Grundversorgung). Our role then becomes to optimise what remains yours — your roof, your self-consumption, your usage.
What is my exported solar kWh really worth?+
Since 1.1.2026 it's paid at the reference market price, with a guaranteed minimum of 6 ct/kWh (≤ 30 kW). That's often far less than the ~27.7 ct a self-consumed kWh is worth: a factor of 4.6×.
What is a community (CEL / vZEV)?+
A framework that lets you sell your solar surplus to your neighbours rather than export it cheaply. We model whether the grouping (RCP/vZEV) is worthwhile for you.
Is it better to self-consume or store?+
It depends on your profile. We compare the gain from direct self-consumption, a battery and neighbour sharing — backed by figures, without pushing you to buy anything.

Your real solar value isn't in the export.

Self-consume, store, share: we calculate what really pays, with ElCom and SFOE figures.
